Melting Cheese Pizza with Black-Pepper Sausages

Note: Ada beberapa org yg minta access to my old blog sbb nak tgk recipe kat sana. I'm sorry, blog tu telah di 'private' kan. So aku copy paste recipe from my old blog.

Seperti yg dirancang, aku buat pizza last friday. My first attempt utk buat pizza telah menghasilkan pizza base yg sgt lembut dan gebu sehingga keesokan harinya. Waaahhhh, seronok sbb berjaya buat pizza. Tak tergambar dgn kata-kata. Sebelum nak buat tu, mmg aku risau kalau pizza base tu x menjadi. Kalau tak jadi, mesti mak aku mengomel sbb aku membazir duit. Pasal tu, kalau aku nak buat roti, aku akan buat masa mak aku xde kat rumah. Hehe..

The base recipe akan menghasilkan empat 5" pizza base. Intan kata, seelok-eloknya canai adunan tu senipis mungkin. So nanti, x la base tu tebal sgt bila dah naik.

For the toppings.. korang boleh letak apa aje yg korang suka. No limit! Tu yg best. Cuba kalau beli pizza kat Pizza Hut, toppings x byk. Cheese pun sikit je. Kalau buat sendiri, letak la byk mana pun korang nak. Bknnye mahal sgt pun.

Ok, enough... Here is the recipe.

Melting Cheese Pizza with Black Pepper Sausages



For the base
500 gram high-protein flour
1 packet Mauri-pan (instant yeast)
3 tbsp margarine (I used butter)
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
250ml water (equal to 1 cup)
1 egg (whisk lightly)

Method:
- Preheat the oven. (Lebih panas, lebih bagus).
- Mix flour, mauri-pan, sugar, salt and eggs in a big bowl.
- Add water and knead until combine.
- Add margarine and knead until smooth for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 4 balls. Put them in a tray. Cover with damp cloth.
- Leave at a dark place for 15 minutes.
- Roll flat and place on a greaseproof baking tray. (I used aluminium pie plate. Less the mess).
- Bake blind for 10 minutes.
- Take it out. Spread the sauce and put the toppings. Lastly, sprinkle the cheese on top.
- Put it back in the oven. Bake until the cheese is melted. (I choosed to bake for another 10 minutes).

For the sauce
1 small can tomato puree (400 gram)
1 bombay onion (I used just 3 onions) - diced
4 cloves garlic - diced
300 gram minced meat
Button mushroom
Oregano
Salt and pepper to taste

Method:
- Heat the oil in a sauce pan. Saute the onions and garlic until translucent.
- Add minced meat. Cook until brown.
- Add tomato puree.
- Add mushroom.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes.
- Add oregano. Salt and pepper to taste.

For the toppings, I used: Pineapple (you can buy the pineapple in a can), capsicums, black-pepper sausages and a combination of mozarella, cheddar and parmesan cheese. Yummy!

Aku cadangkan korang bakar pizza dlm aluminium pie plate. Lebih senang. Tak perlu nak bersihkan baking tray. Paling best, senang bila korang nak reheat the pizza dlm microwave! Tu la paling convinient. Aku bakar pizza ni waktu malam. Satu setengah daripada 4 keping pizza telah habis mlm tu jugak! (Considering hanya 4 org yg mkn pada masa tu). Yang lain, kitorang makan keesokan harinya. Senang bila pakai pie plate. Masuk je dlm microwave and panaskan. Dah habis, leh terus buang the plate.
