Kung Pao Chicken

Note: Ada beberapa org yg minta access to my old blog sbb nak tgk recipe kat sana. I'm sorry, blog tu telah di 'private' kan. So aku copy paste recipe from my old blog.

Ni antara resipi terbaru yg aku masak di rumah. It was a hit! Dah beberapa kali jugak aku masak (atas permintaan ramai). Masa first time cuba resipi nie, aku beli chicken fillets kat supermarket. 2nd time aku masak, mak aku beli ayam and buang tulang tu sendiri and potong ayam tu jadi fillets. Aku berani ckp, rasanya tak sama! So kalau nak cuba, sila beli chicken fillets yg telah dipotong oleh expert (unless u're the expert).

Kung Pao Chicken

Ingredients A :
600g chicken fillets ~ diced
corn flour salt

1. Coat the chicken fillets with salt and corn flour and fry.
2. Once cooked, remove from oil and place on the kitchen towel to absorb oil.

Ingredients B :
100g cashew nuts ~ fry with oil
30g dried chillies ~ cut into 1 to 1.5 inches long
2 white onions ~ diced
4 garlic ~ pounded
2 inches fresh ginger ~ pounded
1 green pepper ~ diced
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 tablespoons chillie sauce
1/4 cup water
cooking oil
salt ~ if needed

Method : 1. Heat a bit of oil in a wok and fry the dried chillies till crispy. Set aside.
2. Saute ginger and garlic till fragrant.
3. Add in the diced white onion.
4. Add in the green pepper, fried chicken, oyster sauce, chillie sauce and a bit of water.
5. When there's only little liquid left, add in the fried cashew nuts, mix well and remove from heat.

* I didn't used cashew nuts because I don't want to.
* Instead of green pepper, I used red pepper.
* Buy the 'already made' chicken fillets at the supermarket (the thin smoothly slices) for a better taste. Trust me!
