Mom’s Time Out

I'm not sure about other mothers but this is what I feel. Setiap hari, I rasa terkejar-kejar. Lepas siap tu, layan Tisya pulak. By the time Tisya masuk tidur, badan dah terlalu penat. All I want to do is lying on the couch and watch TV. Or maybe the TV is "watching" me. Sabtu dan Ahad barulah rasa rileks sikit. Usually I duduk rumah saja. Kadang-kadang teringin nak having my "Me Time" tapi agak susah unless I keluar rumah seorang diri atau mereka anak beranak tinggalkan I kat rumah :)

Time out is necessary for mommies like us, to make sure we don't feel burn out or overstress. Tapi macam mana? I masih teringat masa Tisya kecil, nak tinggalkan dia dengan hubby selama 2 jam pun I dah risau. Takut hubby tak dapat handle.

Tu baru 2 jam. What will happen if I went away for 5 days? Starting 28th August 2014, we can watch how the three dads from Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines take charge of the family and home, while the moms get to go on a 5-day getaway! in MOM'S TIME OUT.

Jason and Leishia Kalaichelvams, with Arianna (4yo) and Olivia (2.5yo)

From Malaysia, meet the Jasons... Dad Jason is a motivational speaker who is a self-confessed workaholic who totally loves his job and probably often prioritizes it above his family. Mom Leishia is a homemaker and freelance writer who cares for their two daughters (4-year-old Arianna and 2.5-year-old Olivia). Will things spiral out of control when Mom is not around?

#TheBaileys

Kenneth and Emerald, with Briah (2.5yo)

From the Philippines, meet the Baileys… Dad Kenneth and stay-at-home Mom Emerald have a 2.5-year-old daughter Briah who is adorable but can be quite a handful! With Dad being the sole breadwinner of the family working night shifts since Briah was born, he now has to take on one of the toughest challenges of his life to care for his daughter while Mom is away. Will he be able to handle it?

#ThePangs

Christopher and Julie Pang, with Marcus (12yo), Michael (8yo) and Matthew (4yo)

From Singapore, meet the Pangs… Dad Christopher and Mom Julie run a successful boutique real-estate company and have 3 boys (12-year-old Marcus, 8-year-old Michael and 4-year-old Matthew). Christopher and Julie often quarrel about their differing parenting principles – Dad is more for corporal punishment while Mom is all about positive reinforcement. What will happen then when Mom is away?

Selamat pulang, MH17

Hari ni, kali pertama negara Malaysia mengadakan hari berkabung. Jadi, dia memang diminta berpakaian hitam.

I hanya dengar siaran langsung dari radio. Takkan nak tengok TV pulak. Takpe, malam ni boleh tengok kat TV. Walaupun hanya dengar suara pengulas di radio, hati tetap rasa sedih mengenangkan nasib mangsa-mangsa MH17. Kalau kita pun dah rasa sedih, sedih lagi hati ahli keluarga mereka :(

What if benda tu jatuh, I pernah tanya hubby. Dia jawab, benda tu susah nak jatuh. Yang biru tu pegang konkrit tu kuat. Sape yang selalu lalu kat site tu tau la apa benda yang warna biru tu.

Now, 3 orang pekerja dikhuatiri mati :(

Hmm tapi kalau ajal dah tiba, kat mana-mana pun boleh mati.. betul tak?
